It’s Fall already! How are your yearly KPIs going?

As we head into fall and the end of the year, it’s a good time to take a step back and evaluate how your KPIs are going. It can be easy to get bogged down in all of our day-to-day tasks, but monitoring progress on yearly goals is important for understanding where you need to put more focus during these last few months. This post will provide tips on how to check in with your KPIs throughout the year so that you know what needs improvement before it becomes too late!

If you’re like most companies, you’ve put the majority of your focus on monthly KPIs throughout the year. Now that fall has arrived, it’s a good opportunity to take a step back and reflect on how this year went for your business.

One important thing is to really think about what happened in the past 12 months- did things go as planned? What worked well? What didn’t work so well? How can we improve going into next year?

If you haven’t been doing these evaluations during the course of this year, now is a great time to start! It’ll help you figure out where to focus your energies to have the biggest impact in the year. If you have been doing these evaluations, then it’s a good time to take stock of what has happened this year and how it could affect next year. Do any problems that came up need immediate attention? How can we fix them before they become too big of an issue?

Talk to your boss about where you stand with your KPIs. If there are any changes that need to be made, now is the time! It’s easy for your KPIs to slip down on a busy schedule and before you know it, next year has started and they’re still not done. This isn’t just about making sure we meet our goals; this is an opportunity to evaluate where we’ve been throughout the year and where we can go.
