Occasions and budgets, set once for everyone
What larger organizations need
Control, coverage, proof
More locations and more managers mean more missed moments. Three things fix that.
Control
Occasions, budgets, and timing decided once and applied everywhere. A gift tier per occasion, billed at the real cost, with an invoice for every charge.
Coverage
Every employee in every location, synced from 290+ HR and payroll systems. New hires inherit the program on day one. Leavers stop getting new gifts.
Proof
Activity, spend, gift history, and participation by manager, across the whole program, when the board or procurement asks.
Straight answers
Ask the procurement questions
We answer security questionnaires, walk through data handling and the HRIS authorization flow, and say plainly what the platform does not support yet. If something on your checklist is not here, ask.
- Security overview and data-handling summary on request
- An invoice for every charge. Pay per gift by default
- Talk to sales about contracting and larger programs
Governance
Your rules, we run them
Decide which occasions the organization recognizes, what each is worth, when gifts go out, and who is included. Managers work inside those decisions without having to learn them. Finance sees the result without chasing anyone.

Implementation
First call to running program
Most organizations start with the data they have and a short list of occasions, or a pilot in one department.
Step 1: Review
Security and procurement review, integration check against your HRIS or payroll system, and a walkthrough on your own use case.
Step 2: Connect and configure
Connect the people data, choose the occasions, set budgets and rules, and name the program owner and executive sponsor.
Step 3: Pilot or roll out
A 60-to-90-day pilot with one or two groups and agreed success measures, or a direct rollout when the program is already defined.
Step 4: Expand
Add employee groups, occasions, manager-led recognition, employee choice, and customer appreciation on the same infrastructure.
“My team love the cards they get with each birthday or workiversary. They display them on their desk. And I don't have to write them by hand anymore! This is worth every penny.”

Questions
Common questions
Quick answers.
Which payroll and HR systems do you work with?
Thankscrate connects to hundreds of HRIS and payroll systems through Finch, including ADP, BambooHR, Gusto, Justworks, Paychex, Paycom, Paylocity, QuickBooks Payroll, Rippling, UKG, and Workday. The connection is read-only.
What if we don't use a payroll system?
Import a spreadsheet. Thankscrate reads exports from ADP, Gusto, BambooHR, Rippling, and Workday, matches the columns for you, and gives you a sample file to start from. You can also add people one at a time.
Can we require approval before a gift is sent?
Spend is controlled by the gift tier set per occasion, and every send is recorded and invoiced. Approval workflows and department-level budget splits are not part of the platform yet.
Can we export the history?
Orders, amounts, and statuses are filterable in the app, and every charge has a downloadable invoice in billing history. Ask us during a demo about the exports your finance team needs.
Is our HR data secure?
Thankscrate reads only what it needs to send a gift. That is name, email, birthday, start date, title, department, employment status, and shipping address. It never reads compensation, tax IDs, or bank details, and it never writes to your payroll. Data moves over TLS, and access is scoped to your company by design. See the Security page for the full picture.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
Not yet. Thankscrate is formalizing its security program in preparation for a SOC 2 Type II audit. The vendors that handle your data (Stripe, Finch, Shopify, and others) are SOC 2 Type II certified today.
