What's new

The platform keeps evolving. Once a month, what changed for the people who use it, in plain language. Signed-in customers see each change in the app the day it ships.

More control over when an occasion runs, contacts imported the way employees are, and quieter, more reliable email during setup and billing.

3 releases this month. 10 smaller fixes and reliability improvements landed alongside what is listed here.

  • For program owners

Stop an occasion on a date you choose

An occasion can be paused right away or on a date you set, and automated gifting stops there. Gifts already on their way finish. Turn it back on whenever you like.

  • For program owners

Start dates and delivery timing, per occasion

From an occasion's page, set the date its automated gifting begins and whether physical gifts arrive on the day or are sent ahead of it.

  • For program owners

    Import contacts from a spreadsheet

Customers, partners, and other contacts import the same way employees do. Columns are matched for you, and a sample file is one click away.

  • For program owners

    Fewer emails during setup

Setup reminders arrive as one batched note instead of one per event, and there is a single reminder when a payment method is missing.

  • For finance

    Receipts you can rely on

Nightly billing receipts are consolidated into one email and cannot be dropped or duplicated by a retried run. Every charge is protected against being taken twice.

  • For program owners

First anniversaries land in the right month

A new hire's first work anniversary is created for the right date, not months early.

Gift tiers became budget ranges billed at real cost, every occasion got its own timing, and recipients got a better way to choose.

11 releases this month. 84 smaller fixes and reliability improvements landed alongside what is listed here.

  • For finance

Gift tiers are budget ranges, billed at real cost

Each tier is a minimum and a maximum. You are billed what the chosen gift actually cost, never above the tier's ceiling. Milestone years can carry a bigger range.

  • For program owners

Notify on the day, or send ahead of time, per occasion

Choose whether a physical gift lands on the date or ships ahead of it, occasion by occasion. Arriving on the day is now the default for new programs. Gift cards always arrive on the day.

  • For program owners

Adding an occasion is a guided setup

A short wizard walks through the occasion, its tier, its timing, and who is included. Occasions show Active, Scheduled, or Disabled at a glance, with their start dates.

  • For managers

Sign the note from you, the team, or someone else

The card can read From you, From the team, or from a name you type. It shows the same way on the printed card and in a gift-card email.

  • For recipients

A better way to choose a gift

Recipients browse the set, open a gift to see photos and details, then confirm. Nothing locks in on a first tap.

  • For managers

Send a gift card for any amount

Alongside tier gifts, a manager can send a digital gift card for a custom amount within the catalog's range. The two paths are laid out side by side.

  • For program owners

Your logo in recipient emails and pages

Upload a logo once, with a guided crop and live preview, and recipient-facing emails and gift pages carry your brand.

  • For program owners

Employee import that matches your columns

Upload a spreadsheet and the columns are matched for you, with a sample file to start from and a blank birth year allowed.

  • For program owners

    Waiting gifts, explained plainly

Gifts waiting on a recipient's pick say so in plain language, nightly receipts combine into one email, and the weekly digest shows where each gift stands.

  • For program owners

Missed gifts flagged before they are gone

An alert names gifts that were missed, and owners get a heads-up a week before a stale one is cleaned up.

  • For recipients

Birthdays show the day, not the year

Employee and recipient views show the month and day only. Birth year and age stay private.

  • For program owners

    Start in three steps

Registration, company, and how you want to recognize people. No plan, card, or occasion setup is needed to finish; configure gifting when you are ready.

Holidays became one send instead of many, on-demand occasions became configurable, and a gift can be a surprise even when you do not have the address.

9 releases this month. 42 smaller fixes and reliability improvements landed alongside what is listed here.

  • For program owners

    A holiday is one send

A company holiday shows as a single row. Set the message once, see everyone included, and send or cancel the whole holiday together. Billing and fulfillment still run per person.

  • For managers

Hand the note to a colleague

Invite a teammate to write the personal message from the event page or the message editor, with a teammate picker and a clear way to take the invitation back.

  • For program owners

    On-demand occasions, configured your way

Random Acts of Kindness and other on-demand occasions appear on your Occasions page with their own gift tier, selection mode, fallback gift, and email wording. Add occasions from the catalog when you want more.

  • For managers

Send a surprise without the address

Pick the gift yourself and ask only for a shipping address. The recipient adds it from a link; the gift stays a surprise.

  • For program owners

Onboarding that explains automated and on-demand

A shorter, branching setup teaches the two ways to recognize people and routes through occasions, budgets, and timing before billing. Per-gift plans can add a card later.

  • For recipients

An attention line on shipping addresses

Recipients and owners can add an Attn line, and it travels with the order to the carrier.

  • For program owners

Products that cannot ship somewhere are never offered there

Location rules, such as alcohol restrictions by state, are enforced everywhere a gift is chosen, so a recipient never picks something that cannot reach them.
